Bio

  

Rabbi Andrew Bloom,

Originally from New Jersey, made Aliyah to Israel at 19 and served in the Medical Corps of the IDF. After his discharge, he earned a B.Ed. from Seminar Hakibutzim, met his wife Michal, and received ordination and a master’s degree from the Schechter Institute of Rabbinic Studies.

Now based in Fort Worth, Texas, Rabbi Bloom co-chaired the Fort Worth Task Force on Race and Culture and serves on civic boards, including the Mayor’s Faith-Based Cabinet. A co-founder of Cowtown Clergy and author of Two Minutes of Traditions: Torah and Life Lessons for People on the Go, he is a certified ethicist with credentials from University of Texas in Austin’s McCombs School of Business, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
